What Is This Tool?
This tool crops a headshot to a standard passport or ID photo size and outputs it at print resolution (300 or 600 DPI). Pick the size for your document, frame your face inside the guide box with zoom and move, and optionally flatten the background to a solid colour. It is a framing aid, not an official compliance check.

Is this photo guaranteed to be accepted?
No. Requirements vary by country and cover head size, expression, lighting, background and more. Use this as a sizing and framing aid, and always check the official specification for your document.
What pixel dimensions do I get?
The size in millimetres converted at the chosen DPI. For example 35×45mm at 300 DPI is about 413×531 pixels.
Can it remove the background properly?
It can flatten to a flat colour behind a photo that already has a plain backdrop, but it does not do subject cut-out. For a messy background, shoot against a plain wall.
Does it adjust brightness or expression?
No. It only crops, scales and optionally recolours the background.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything is done in your browser.
