What Is This Tool?

This tool overlays meme-style captions on an image: bold condensed text with a black outline, top and bottom. Optionally force uppercase and add solid white bars above and below the image for the "boomer meme" look. Everything is drawn on a canvas and exported as one image.

How It Works

1

Drop an image onto the box or choose one.

2

Type the Top and Bottom captions.

3

Adjust the font size; toggle uppercase or caption bars.

4

Click Download PNG.

Everything runs locally in your browser — the image you choose is decoded onto an HTML canvas on your own device and is never uploaded to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which font is used?

A bold condensed sans-serif from your system (Impact where available, otherwise Arial Black / Anton-style fallback). Exact rendering depends on the fonts installed.

What if my caption is very long?

It wraps onto multiple lines and the block is scaled to fit the image width. Very long text may become small — shorten it or lower the font size.

Can I move the text anywhere?

This version fixes the captions to the top and bottom. For free placement, use the Image Watermark tool.

Does it keep the image quality?

The photo is drawn once and text is added on top; the export is a single PNG at the source resolution.

Is my image uploaded?

No, the meme is composed locally.
