Image Watermark
Overlay a text watermark on an image, with position and opacity.
Processed on your device — never uploaded
Tiled mode covers the whole image, which is harder to crop out.
What Is This Tool?
This tool stamps text over your image on a canvas. Place it in a corner, in the centre, or tile it across the whole picture; adjust size, colour, rotation and opacity. The watermark is flattened into the exported image, so it travels with the file.
How It Works
Drop an image onto the box or select one.
Type your Watermark text.
Choose a Position and tune size, opacity and rotation.
Click Download PNG.
Everything runs locally in your browser — the image you choose is decoded onto an HTML canvas on your own device and is never uploaded to a server.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the watermark be removed?
A determined editor can often clone out a small corner watermark. Tiled, semi-transparent text across the whole image is much harder to remove cleanly.
Can I use an image or logo as the watermark?
This version stamps text only. For a logo watermark, add it in an image editor, or place your logo as text-like initials.
Why is my watermark hard to read?
Increase the opacity, change the colour for more contrast against the photo, or add a subtle shadow by stamping dark text then light text slightly offset (run the tool twice).
Does it lower image quality?
Only the pixels under the text change. The rest of the image is re-encoded once to PNG.
Is my image uploaded?
No, the watermark is applied locally.
