Every tool on Image Berry processes your picture on your own device. Nothing is uploaded. This is not a policy promise bolted onto a normal upload site — it is how the tools are built.

How it works

When you drop in an image, the browser decodes it into memory and draws it onto an <canvas> element. JavaScript can then read and rewrite the pixels directly: rotate them, average them for a blur, remap their colours, or count them for a histogram. To save the result, the browser encodes the canvas back into a PNG, JPEG or WebP and hands you the file as a download. A server is never involved.

Why it matters

  • Privacy — a photo with GPS data, a screenshot of a document, a client’s artwork: none of it leaves your machine.
  • Speed — no upload, no queue, no download of the result. Large files are limited only by your device.
  • Offline — once the page has loaded, most tools keep working with no connection.

The trade-offs

Very large batches use your device’s memory, so extremely big jobs can be slow on older hardware. And a few things browsers simply cannot do natively — decoding HEIC, for instance — are out of scope rather than quietly sent to a server.
